LA FÉE ABSINTHE PARISIENNE THE BRAND ORIGINAL La Fée Absinthe Parsienne In 1998 George Rowley (owner of La Fée) secured the UK government’s authorization on the landmark document allowing absinthe to be legally sold in the European Union thus sparking a worldwide absinthe revival. 10 years on absinthe is beginning to make its mark in America. La Fée Absinthe Parisienne, ‘the brand original’ available in over 20 countries around the world is now available in the States. "10 years ago I found absinthe and set about sharing its fascination with the rest of the world. I wanted every bar and free thinking spirit to feel and taste the drink and experience this unique window into the past with an eye on the exciting implications for the future and her modern day use in mixology – a love affair that grows as more people get touched by the green spirit that is La Fée" Following his dream George Rowley met with world-renowned absinthe expert and historian Marie-Claude Delahaye and together they set to work on re creating traditional absinthe in France for the first time since the ban of 1915. The result ‘La Fée Absinthe Parisienne’ is distilled by a Paris based distiller following an authentic 19th century recipe. It is the only absinthe authenticated by the ‘Musee de l’Absinthe’ Auvers-sur-Oise and to this day each distillation is personally approved by Delahaye. "La Fée captures the aroma and taste that great artists such as Rimbaud, Toulouse-Lautrec and Vincent van Gogh enjoyed at the end of the 19th century" With its rich history and ‘iconic’ eye logo La Fée has already proved to be a big hit with style bars, retail and Duty Free outlets around the world and the trend is set to continue in America. La Fée has received numerous awards from San Francisco World Spirits Gold and Absinthiades Golden Spoon to New Brand Innovation Trophy for International Spirits Challenge. The iconic eye is the mark of excellence, in terms of provenance, authenticity and quality and La Fée distil a range for both traditional and modern palates. La Fée Absinthe Parisienne is initially available in New York with plans to spread to other states throughout the year. Each bottle is supplied with its own La Fée Absinthe spoon ensuring the perfect traditional serve.
