La Fée Absinthe

Borisal Wine and Spirits, Brooklyn's top retailer hosted a La Fée tasting in-store to show their regulars traditional French absinthe.

The La Fée team not only showed the traditional serve, but also Ernest Hemmingway's most famous absinthe cocktail - 'Death in the Afternoon'. Here a measure of La Fée is topped with champagne in a flute (we used a martini glass). Also a contemporary mixer; the 'London Fog', where La Fée is layered over a healthy measure of gin, served in a rocks glass - on the rocks of course!
